Girteka, Europe’s largest asset-based transportation company, announced the appointment of Nikolay Pargov as Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective September 2, 2024. This leadership change is the next step toward becoming a more agile, flexible, and customer-centric organization to address the evolving challenges in the logistics sector.

The new COO will spearhead Girteka’s strategic transformation to increase agility and cost-efficiency. By aligning the organization’s structure and operations, Girteka aims to better respond to market demands and customer needs. This transformation is expected to bolster the company’s ability to adapt to the fast-evolving logistics landscape, ensuring competitive advantage and sustainable growth.

About Nikolay Pargov
Nikolay brings more than 20 years of experience in logistics, having worked with companies such as DHL, C.H. Robinson Europe, and Transporeon. He spent eleven years with DHL Freight and DHL Global Forwarding, later on becoming Director of Operations Europe for C.H Robinson and continuing with Transporeon as CEO for ControlPay, CCO, and CRO of the whole group, a position he held until the end of June. His leadership and strategic mindset have been key to his success and will be invaluable to Girteka’s operations.
